God extended His grace to humanity by sending His beloved Son, Jesus Christ. He did this to save us from spiritual death and grant us eternal life.
According to 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV), “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
This describes the born-again experience. After this transformation, believers need to renew their minds completely. Only then can they fully embrace and live out this new life in Christ.
Made in Christ provides a platform for believers to fully experience God’s highest and best. This is achieved by thinking, speaking, and living like Jesus Christ. Like a cocoon transforming into a beautiful butterfly, every believer can experience a life-changing transformation.
Thinking like Jesus Christ
Becoming born again marks the beginning of walking in God’s perfect will for our lives. God’s will for His children is lasting transformation through renewing the mind. That means changing our thinking to who we are in Christ and who He is in us.
Talking like Jesus Christ
Luke 6:45 states, “Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.” Our hearts and thoughts should be full of our new reality in Christ. Then, it will come out of our mouths. Anyone born again has creative power like Jesus Christ, so what we say is very important for experiencing God’s best.
Living like Jesus Christ
Our thoughts become our words, and our words affect everything we do in life. The result of true mind renewal is a life that reflects the character and nature of Jesus Himself! We personally experience God’s best. As others see Him through us, we can also draw them to Jesus Christ.
The Word is a mirror that reflects our true selves and God’s true nature. It guides us toward understanding our purpose in life. Scripture is our final authority, providing wisdom transcending all issues, time, and culture. The Word gives us clarity in every season, enabling us to navigate life’s challenges with faith and boldness.
The Holy Spirit is our Helper. His presence and power in our lives are a tremendous blessing. He teaches and directs us in all matters of life. Yielding to the Holy Spirit’s ministry helps us grow spiritually. It also enables us to lay hold of everything that belongs to us in Christ.
